Procedure

Prior to arriving for your visit, you will receive an email outlining your itinerary for the day. Please plan on spending the day at The Steadman Clinic for a thorough evaluation with our team. This visit can consist of an MRI, Sports Test, ROM/strength testing, evaluation with our internal medicine physician, review of postoperative equipment, evaluation with the team. You will be given your check in time for surgery and additional instructions on when to stop eating and drinking. Hip arthroscopy patients spend one night in the surgery center and are discharged the morning after surgery to start physical therapy. You will meet with a Philippon team member at this physical therapy appointment to review post-operative instructions.
